Molar mass of Cl₂ = 35.5 × 2 = 71.0 g/mol
No. of moles of Cl₂ in 15 g of Cl₂ = (15 g) / (71.0 g/mol) = 0.211 mol

1 mole of Cl₂ contains 6.022 × 10²³ molecules.
No. of molecles of Cl₂ in 15 g of Cl₂ = (0.211 mol) × (6.022 × 10²³ /mol) = 1.27 × 10²³

====
Molar mass of C atoms = 12.0 g/mol
No. of moles in 23 g of C atoms = (23 g) / (12.0 g/mol) = 1.92 mol

moles = mass / molar mass

molecules = moles x 6.02 x 10^23

moles = mass / molar mass of carbon
