Is a half brother/sister more related to you then a first cousin? Or is a first cousin more related to you then a half brother or sister?

LOL this question is kind of fun. Let's see... A half sibling has a common parent. A first cousin has a common grandparent. A half sibling also has a common grandparent. In my opinion the half sibling is more related by blood than the cousin. Sharing a parent is direct blood.
