For the last five hours straight I was on the toilet trying to pass a stool I had been constipated for two weeks laxatives didnt do much and enemas didn't work, well it got sobad finally I starting going but then I started puked violently at the same time, I got really dizzy and next thing I know I'm on the ground and I looked in the toilet and it was literally over a footling probably 16 - 18 inches. I stumbled in my bed and cried out of happiness that my suffering was finally over. I was just wondering why I passed out, was it because of the pain or did I almost have abowel obstruction?
God bless anyone who has similar problems.

Pressing so hard can cause changes in your blood pressure - people who have had heart attacks (Aortic anurisms) are told never to get constipated as it puts enormous strain on the heart. You should use lactulose pills or liquid. You can buy this over the counter and it draw water into the colon and keeps everything soft. Or eat more fibre.
Also some drug cause constipation especially if they contain codeine in them - ditto for some food for some people (e.g.: Eggs)
