Well, in the sense that you can't be a quantum physicist if you're not "conscious" -- both in the sense of being fully awake and aware and in the sense of being cognizant of a wide variety of phenomena -- yes, they certainly do.

No because Quantum Physics evolved from the "Fredonian Theory Of Devolution" that no centripetal force can influence the mass existence of time and space. Consciousness is a direct result of neutrons and protons electrocuting the Pythagorean glands in the back located near the spine which is a direct confrontation and holds no correlation with that theory.
