Assuming y = 2/3 + 23/3 should be y = 2x/3 + 23/3,
5x - 2(2x/3 + 23/3) + 14 = 0
5x - 4x/3 + 46/3 + 14 = 0
11x/3 + 88/3 = 0
11x + 88 = 0
x = -8
y = 2(-8)/3 + 23/3
y = -16/3 + 23/3
y = 7/3
5x - 2(2x/3 + 23/3) + 14 = 0
5x - 4x/3 + 46/3 + 14 = 0
11x/3 + 88/3 = 0
11x + 88 = 0
x = -8
y = 2(-8)/3 + 23/3
y = -16/3 + 23/3
y = 7/3
