Physics spring problem.?
A spring of relaxed length L is attached to a mass of 1.5kg so the mass rests on a frictionless horizontal surface. The spring has a spring constant of 250 N/m. The spring is compressed by a force then released. The mass is traveling at 2.7 m/s when the spring has extended to length L once again. How far was the spring compressed?

½m*v² = ½k*x² →
x = v*√[m/k] = 0.209 m
