Can you become a barista with no experience?

A Barista is a posh name for a person who serves coffee. Here in the UK I trained my staff on the coffee machine in 30 minutes.
It is not rocket science learning which flavours to put in the cup.

It will help to at least read about coffee machines and coffee shop flavors so even if you don't have experience yet, you will have an edge at least. The training will follow after.

A barista is some one that makes coffee, cappuccinos and other special drinks.
I did apply for a barista position once, I got an interview but didn't get the job.
I had no experience making coffee which may have lead them to a decision not to hire me.
If you at least know how to make coffee, you can be out going or at least you like talking to people that could help. They should give you some training as to how to make the cappuccinos and all that stuff.
Give it a go, apply and see what happens.

Send your CV/Resume to a few Coffee Bars in the busy City areas or contact them by Email and ask, I've seen adverts for staff on the windows of some Coffee Shops and Restaurants in my area.
You might want to offer yourself as a volunteer in exchange for training!
