Without knowing what kinds of inputs and outputs each device has, there's no way to guess.
If you have a hidef TV, then get a hidef cable box.
If you have a hidef TV, then get a hidef cable box.

After you see the difference the upgrade box makes, you will be glad you changed. We just did the same thing. WOW, what difference it makes and well worth the extra few bucks a month. LG OLED 65B6

Maybe but you won't get the best quality picture without a better, newer cable box. Why spend all that money on a new TV and keep an old cable box? Don't make much sense.,
