Is earning an online Bachelors degree as valid as earning one in person and is it considered a "real" degree if its done online?

I went to a community college for 2 years and earned my Associates in Creative Writing on campus. I m now only 20 and have thought about continuing on to get my Bachelors. I was wondering if I should move to a University and earn my Bachelors degree on campus or if I should try for an online degree. How do employers feel about online degrees? Will I get as much out of an online degree as I would sitting in a classroom? I appreciate any advice!

It depends on which school it is from. For-profit schools are largely worthless regardless of them being in person or online.

as others have said "it depends on the school"

SUNY (State University of New York)
has lots of valid online bachelors

University of Massachusetts Lowell has a bunch

look at the web pages of universities in your state
I'm sure they'll have some online programs too

It depends on the university - most online degrees aren't respected.

If the degree come from an accredited university, it should not matter whether you physically attended classes or completed your requirements online.
