Lots of different cultures in the USA, but a lot of people eat roasted turkey, bread stuffing, or dressing, vegetables, maybe a type of potato, white potato or sweet potato. And dessert is a big thing, a lot of people like pumpkin pie. Pumpkin is a squash that grows in a lot of areas. Some people may have turkey again for Christmas, but I can't say everyone does. I don't! People of Italian decent sometimes have Italian food. It is more about getting family together at the beginning of the Holiday season!

It's pretty similar to what a lot of people eat at Christmas, but there are a few differences. Here's a description of the typical American Christmas dinner: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christmas_dinner#United_States

A lot depends on what part of the US.
Each will have sides that are a part that part of the country.
Most will have turkey, stuffing, mash potato's, gravy and cranberry sauce.

Some will have a turkey meal for Christmas.
Other will have Ham or Roast Beef.
This is more of a family think more than a country thing.
