想問大陸出世入香港同香港出世有冇分別?

太太係大陸人。本人係香港永久居民。想小朋友起香港讀書。諗住省果幾萬蚊。起大陸生完再入來。聽同事講如果跟爸爸 一年就可以入到來。讀書幅利一樣。請問正確嗎？

The answer is yes.
However - it is not a decision that the parents should make.
There are many disadvantages for giving birth in the Mainland. At the minimum, the newborn's birth certificate will be a complicated issue (as the Mainland does not issue an official birth certificate, all Mainland residents rely on a notarized version).

在內地出生而爸爸是港人，出生後由爸爸申請來港就可以了。
