How to tell boyfriend that I think I have herpes and he might have gave it to me?

I'm almost positive I'm having an outbreak and have an appointment scheduled to confirm it. My last partner was in August before him. After a week of having intercourse with the new man in my life I'm having an outbreak. I've read they mostly happen 2-14 days after exposure. What are the chance he did in fact give it to me or if it's been dormant since my last parter. And how do I bring up the conversation

Don't tell him any thing yet. Go see your doctor first and confirm weather you have it or not. If you have herpes then you should have a chat with your boy friend about what's been going on and ask him to get tested.
It could have been either partner. It's not common but some times genital herpes can lie dormant for long periods of time after you were exposed to it.

Tell your boyfriend the truth so he can be tested. I know it is difficult, but you should have been upfront with him from the beginning so he could have chose safe sex methods such as using a condom. But that's too late now. Let him know so he does not spread the disease onto others though unprotected sex.

I should also add our first time having intercourse was nov 13 so 10 days ago
