Sure, it's possible. You have to submit your transcripts to find whether all your credits will be transferable, but most should be OK. However, you have to realize that you'll pay much higher tuition at a public college/university because you're not a resident of California. If you're talking about transferring to a private college you'll be fine because tuition at private colleges is the same for everyone.
