One is at rock bottom level, which is called bestial nature or animal nature. The second category of people are called human being. They are neither having animal nature nor divine nature. They are in the middle. They possess human nature. Those being who have human nature are called human beings.

If a human being puts some extra and special efforts for spiritual emancipation, it is possible to gain divine powers (divine nature). It requires physical self- discipline, mental control, social orderliness and adopting some highest level of moral standards. Philosophists explain such people in other ways i.e. (1) below nature people; (2) middle nature people who are average; and (3) extraordinary people who are super-natural.

because only humans are conscious. this is a controversial view but i hold to it. at best other higher primates and possibly dolphins/whales etc. share consciousness too but we at least outnumber those

We are human beings because we belong to the species known as Homo sapiens, which evolved in Africa about 150,000 years ago from another species known as Homo erectus. Homo erectus evolved from ape men, which also lived in Africa. Ape men are known as australopithecines, and they walked on 2 legs just like we do. Ape men evolved from an ape beginning about 5 million years ago in Africa. The reason ape men evolved was because the forests were shrinking due to climate change and our ape ancestors were too weak physically to keep their home in the forests against stronger apes, who drove our ancestors away from forests by force. In order to survive, our ancestors had to make a living in the African savanna, where there is little to eat for an ape. Our ancestors had to change to suit the conditions found in the savanna. These changes include walking on 2 legs to see farther before danger gets too close, and also include evolving a bigger brain to help them find new kinds of food apes did not even know exist, such as tubers, which are nutritious plants found under ground, such as potatoes and yam.

This is a pointless and meaningless question. Our scientific name is Homo sapiens. The Latin translates in to English as wise man. In English we are called humans or human beings. That is simply what we are called. We could have been, but were not, called jabberwocky. There is no special reason for our name. It is what it is.
