This woman I work with will not stop snapping and chewing gum loudly...Does this annoy anyone else?
I work as a teacher's aide at a elementary school. One of the teachers I work with snaps and chews her gum VERY loudly. She shares a room with another teacher and myself and will snap and pop bubbles as well as chew with her mouth open while the other teacher has a class going on. Even when the kids are taking a test. I think it is extremely gross and distracting and honestly just plain rude. The other teacher doesn't say anything about it and doesn't seem to notice like I do. Has anyone else had a problem like this? What did you do if anything? Am I crazy for thinking this is disgusting behavior?

The only person who has the right to say anything is the teacher you work with. Ask that teacher what she thinks about it. She may be so used to it that she does not notice it. You might mention that it could be distracting to the children. Do not say it bothers you personally just that it could be bothering the children
