Simplify math problem?
Simplify: (8 - 3x + x3) + (3x3 - 6x - 12)
回答 (6)
first you remove the brackets :
8-3x+x3+3x3 -6x -12
then you find the like numbers like 8-12=-4
so I will do this step for the whole equation:
-4- 9x+ 4x3
Then you can rearrange it if you want:
solution is 4x3- 9x- 4
(8 - 3x + x³) + (3x³ - 6x - 12)
Since both trinomials are getting added together, we can just drop all parenthesis and treat it like a 6-term polynomial:
8 - 3x + x³ + 3x³ - 6x - 12
Now combine like terms and re-arrange in proper order to simplify:
4x³ - 9x - 4
