Could you build a house with the help of other workers ?

I would imagine it would be pretty hard, but I would love to give it a go.

Wouldn't it be great if we all could build our own houses? 🙂 Because then we could save a lot of money.

Nope. Don't you know? The government owns all the land and the people work to serve it. That's why we pay them to build on our own property, and pay them to hunt animals. The government are our gods

My dad was sort of a master of all trades. He never built a house but he did build extensions, he did wiring and plumbing and so forth.

I thought once about building a house all by myself. Dad said two people could do it easier than one. An experienced carpenter and an assistant or apprentice. For instance you could frame a wall flat on the ground but it would take two people to tip it up and nail it into place. There's no task in building a house that couldn't be done by two people. It would be a lot of work though.

No, no no..... You have to have skills, license, insurance and experience to build something that you would move yourself and your entire family and friends into. Your fantasy is reserved to the canvass. Get some crayons and have a field day on building your own house, but leave the actual product to the professionals.
