Does Yahoo no longer give out a notification when one of comments gets a thumbs up or reply?

it seems they have stopped doing that months ago (maybe over a year ago). if warranted, you will still get a violation notice

Yahoo does still notify you through "notifications" when you get a thumbs up. However, Yahoo doesn't and never has notified you of comments.

Yahoo has horrible consistency with any of its interface. There are so many errors and glitches I don't even know why it still exists. Plus it's "news" stories.... shoot me.

Comments were never able to be TU/TD, and I don't believe Yahoo ever sent out notifications for comments.

If you open any of the comment boxes here, this is how they have appeared for a very long time, with the single exception of the 300-word text limit.

According to your profile you have been using the site for 3+ years, so you have been here over the course of all of the comments issues.
