my mom jumps to conclusions way too quickly. for exmple my mom is a teacher at my school and i have one of her spanish classes every day she wants me to put my phone on her desk and has never told me why. esterday, in the class before my phone rang and got my phone taken away when i walked into the class i told my mom i had gotten it taken away and she believed me. i picked up my phone at the end of the day. she saw that i was on it and threw a fit in front of the school students. i have tried to explain things to her but everytime i try to talk to her she says im "mansplaining". she also said every day i dont confess to her what i didnt do i grounded for one month. how can i talk to her? alsow hat is mansplaining?

Well first of all, "Mansplaining"is for people to silence men in a conversation so they can their point across pretty much, there is a big story behind it about Sexism and stuff but yeah thats what "Mansplaining" is... im not sure why your mom did that and called you that but.. just don't admit to something you didn't do and just keep asking her what you did.

i wouldnt bother talking to her, i think mansplaining means she wants you to explain which guy you were talking to

Just do whatever you want with your life. She can't legally hit or abuse you. Just go mow some lawns or shovel some snow and pay your own phone bill and she can't do ****. Then you don't have to deal with her sexist BS anymore. "Mansplaining" would be a females way of derogating a man's form of thinking. She thinks you are trying to manipulate her simply because you are a male. There is no way around dealing with a parent like that other than conforming or revolting. Best of luck bud. I had terribly strict parents growing up and had to rebel to get anywhere in life.

most likely your school has a rule that students can't bring phones to school or at least can't have them on during class time, and you did not adhere to that rule
