Yes however the planes must get ETOPS 120 or 180 certifications to fly the most favorable (shortest route)
Westbound might require refuel stop depending on headwinds.

Yes. BUT in the 70s you had to fly transatlantic with a plane that had a minimum of 3 engines.
With progress in the future maybe they may do it with no engines haha
