What is that little observation thing on the deck of an aircraft carrier?

There is a little glass dome on the flight deck of aircraft carriers, I've noticed one on the USS George Washington. What is it called and what is it for?

That is the Integrated Catapult Control Station (ICCS) aka the bubble. Where a pair of officers watch and launch the fixed-wing aircraft .

Hi it is a light for being seen in the dark part of the way aircraft and boats donate the porte and starboard sides. as well as red and green white is usually on top and underneath,
