State the degree of the polynomial: 3(x 1)(x 2)(x 4)?
回答 (4)
Did you mean: 3(x-1)(x-2)(x-4)?
If so, degree = 3
Or did you mean: 3(x^1)(x^2)(x^4)?
If so, degree = 7
That is not a polynomial. You will need to define (x 1), (x 2), and (x 4).
if the 1, 2, and 4 are exponents, then add them up to get the degree
3 [x] x^2 ] [ x^4 ] = 3 x^7
degree 7
