Missing cat stories please?

Hey i lost my cat 3 days ago he just ran away overnight. He was playing and his collar dropped the next day I couldn't find him. He was an indoor outdoor cat , i loved him so much.I tried searching everywhere but no sign. This is the first time this has happened. He wasn't neutered or microchipped or anything. There was construction going on in my house maybe thats why he ran away. He slept outside. Please give me hope and tell stories about your missing cat. I really hope my cat comes back. Why would he do this? I cried and prayed to go so much.

I had a cat who disappeared at the beginning of August and walked back in the door one night in early November. No idea where he might have been. I put up posters and knocked on doors and called the SPCA every week and went to look at 3 cats that weren't my cat. If your cat wasn't neutered he may have gone chasing after some unspayed female cat. Get him neutered if he comes back. He's more likely to stick around.

He might of saw something or got scared. Put up Lost Cat posters and call the Animal Centers around you.

My cat when she was a kitten, loved going outside, but unfortunately wasn't too bright... She would get stuck in the most awkward places and I would spend the day running around trying to find her.
I'm sure your cat will turn up, maybe put up some posters or a picture of face book and ask friends and neighbors to keep an eye out? Also leave a window open so if he comes back in the middle of the night he can jump back in.
He most likely heard a female and is off following her. But, sometimes they just like to wander, he'll saunter back in soon enough :)
