Do mosquitos bite birds? If yes is it really bad?

I left my budgie outside today by an accident and there are lots of mosquitos outside, would something happen to my budgie?

Really unheard of, mosquitoes have a preference for mammalian blood. I doubt they could bite through feathers.
Your budgie might eat mosquitoes though.
