I used to bathe her before shows, but she hasn't been shown in over a year and still doesn't need a bath. She looks good and smells good. If she starts stinking, she'll get one. So, to answer your question, not very often.

my long hair dogs every 12 to 14 weeks ....... my short hair dogs every 4 months ....by a groomer, bath, brushing, nails done ..... please do not use a box store groomer .. find a local groomer in your area with their own shop

I only wash my dog if he smells which is very unlikely
Probably once a year

3 times a year when she goes to the groomer for a clip. Rarely does she ever need one outside of those visits and if she does I use a soothing oatmeal based dog shampoo(and conditioner).

I wash my dog almost every week. He is a young pit and gets into messes and my pack yard does not have grass atm so he gets muddy. But every 2 weeks is a good rule. It depends on the type of hair and also the skin conditions of the dog.

I honestly just wash her if she smells or gets into something

Once or twice a year, if they need it. When we go to the beach, they'll get the salt rinsed off, but not a full bath.

Spring/fall unless otherwise recommended and/or prescribed by my vet. And/or if they've tangled with a skunk and then that's a special bath*, regular hunting/killing does not promote odors.

2 times
2016-11-08 3:21 am
About once a month. However, if she had to have a medicated shampoo, I'd bathe her about 3 to 4 times a week since they have to be used often to work well. If she got into somethinhg stinky, I'd wash her right away. I take my dog many places with me and, as a groomer's dog, she has to look good, and smell good.

Cesar Milan reccomends once every three weeks. If you do it too often (like every week or two), then that amount of shampoo will not be good for your dog's fur

I have a saint Bernard ( Turk) at my moms . We bathe him once every 2 or 3 weeks depending on the weather
2016-11-08 11:35 pm
Every time I shower .
2016-11-08 7:33 pm
About once every 2 weeks unless they roll in something and smell sooner.
2016-11-08 2:42 am
I usually do it every time my dog smells bad.
2016-11-08 7:43 pm
They only need a bath if you notice they smell bad or if they get into something that makes them dirty. My German Shepherd almost never needs baths. I haven't bathed him in over a year. My pug tends tof stink so I bathe her about twice a month. It is bad to bathe some breeds of dogs too often. It strips their coat of natural oils that protect their coat and skin. Read what is best for your dog's breed.

My dogs have not been washed for over 2 years. Their coats (short haired) are nice and they do not smell. But their nails are trimmed about 3 times a month.
2016-11-08 11:44 am
it really depends on the kind of Dog since German shephard could stay clean to be bated at least once in two weeks

2016-11-14 4:08 pm

2016-11-11 9:16 pm
every 2 weeks or so, use a quality dog shampoo or just water
2016-11-11 3:45 pm
3 in a week
2016-11-11 1:45 pm
14 days should be good
2016-11-10 10:04 pm
Depends on what dog. My friend washes his staffy once a week. Dry shampoo is also an option if you have a smelly dog.
2016-11-10 8:33 pm
for my female german shepherd, i wash her twice a month, for my female husky, i wash her about 3 times every 2 months

Only when she rolls in something really funky.
2016-11-10 5:07 pm
you should only wash a dog three to four times a year because they have oils in there skin and and stuff like that that it isn't good for them to take several baths if they get in something and they need one that is understandable
2016-11-10 12:48 pm
Once a year before his spring clip. The electric clippers don't seem to work unless he is freshly washed.
Sometimes if he has been in the creek I just hose the mud off his legs with the garden hose
2016-11-10 4:14 am
i get mine washed once every 2-3 months
2016-11-10 2:12 am
I wash my dog about two times a month. My dog is living outside my house, so we don’t need to keep her clean every day.
2016-11-10 12:37 am
depends if you let it go in puddles . the vet said twice a year is ample . plenty of grooming helps keeps the dogs coat keep healthy be gently as some coats are thicker and fine hair just like us humans need to care for our h be gentle when grooming dogs hair.
2016-11-09 10:37 pm
try everyday but it's exhausting
2016-11-09 10:33 pm
once a year
2016-11-09 9:42 pm
1 time a month
2016-11-09 7:26 pm
never
2016-11-09 3:51 pm
3 to 4 times every year sometimes more.
2016-11-09 9:45 am
Never....unless absolutely necessary.
My dog swims in the fresh water lakes and that is healthier for his coat than any shampoos as it does not destroy the essential oils that keep his coat waterproof and does not dry out his skin.

2016-11-08 6:53 pm

2016-11-08 3:05 am

2016-11-08 2:43 am
Sadly. Hardly. Most people I know only wash them about once every 2ish weeks. I only wash them when they look gross or smell gross.
2016-11-08 2:25 am
Once or twice a year. We wash his paws if they are muddy in plain water.
2016-11-08 10:33 am
Once a week
2016-11-08 4:41 pm
Depends on breed of dog and how dirty they get . Mine are close haired dogs black and tan and i wash them every 3 months .But they dont really get that dirty.I use dog wipes when muddy paws etc.. Owners with long haired dogs and hunting dogs etc.. or white tend too wash their dogs alot .
2016-11-08 8:40 am
I usually wash my dog 3 times a week so that they will not smell bad and to avoid scabs and lies..
2016-11-08 2:33 am
