An object of mass m = 5.65 kg has an acceleration a = (1.17 m/s2)x + (-0.664 m/s2)y. Three forces act on this object: F1, F2, and F3. Given that F1 = (3.39 N)x and F2 = (-1.55 N)x + (2.05 N)y, find F3.

✔ 最佳答案
net force = mass * acceleration

Let's look at the x-components:
5.65kg * 1.17m/s² = 3.39N - 1.55N + F3x
F3x = 4.77 N ◄

And now the y-components:
5.65kg * -0.664m/s² = 2.05N + F3y
F3y = -5.80 N ◄

Hope this helps!
