如何分辨幾時用active voice和passive voice?

只有「及物動詞」才會有「passive voice」的狀況。我們會依一個段落的主角來決定及物動詞該用active voice或passive voice。如果原受詞是該段落的主角，我們就會讓原來的受詞成為主詞，將及物動詞改成passive voice。這樣整個段落的主詞才能取得一致，有完整性。閱讀時，讀者覺得比較自然，不會有觀點不斷跳躍的現象。另一個狀況是主詞可以指任何人（即誰來都是一樣的結果）或是主詞不重要，為避免焦點模糊，就會使用passive voice，而且不提by xxx。

passive voice:-
The killing was done (last year) by the ghost.
be + pp =was done;
We mention by the xxx=by the ghost.
Subject=anyone=whomever comes=the same result=not important.
But readable in the text=passive voice.
