Oxalic acid (H2C2O4) has a pKa1= 1.25 and a pKa2= 4.26. At what pH is the HC2O4- concentration equal to the C2O4-2 Concentration?

Consider the second dissociation of oxalic acid :
HC₂O₄⁻(aq) + H₂O(l) ⇌ C₂O₄²⁻(aq) + H₃O⁺(aq) …. pKₐ₂ = 4.26
pH = pKₐ₂ - log([HC₂O₄⁻]/[C₂O₄²⁻])

When [HC₂O₄⁻] = [C₂O₄²⁻] :
pH = pKₐ₂ - log(1) = pKₐ₂ = 4.26
