Why am I so tired?

I got 10 hours of sleep, which is what i'm pretty sure i need, but when I get 9 or below I feel less tired, Do I need less sleep?
By the way, I'm 14, so I don't know if that affects anything.

Sometimes too much sleep can make people fatigued, maybe the 10 hours is too much. I would go by the signals you are getting from your body; if you feel refreshed on 9 hours of sleep, then that may be the optimal sleep for you.

it happens to lots of people, it happened to me, I had it as well, andso I rotated different things to give me normal energy and not feel drugged at all......believe it or not, 1/2 can of starbucks energy drink worked for me, a powder drink mix call Peak, also worked, ribose capsules also worked like 3 or 4 capsules, 2 tabs of guarana worked as well, and lastly 1 tab of 5mg of nadh, it's an enegy enzyme......but you will have to search for YOUR reason for feeling so tired, going to the doctor is waste of time, they will run tests and come up with no answer, nice eh ? so try a health food store, only a mom and pop type place and ask questions about restoring energy....lastly you can search yelp in your zipcode for a naturopath and pick the one with the best marks and experience, and get a consultation. best wishes

You might not be getting enough exercise, or that your bored, or you could be even low in vitamins such as B vitamins or coq10. Although the body naturally produces coq10. So, it's highly unlikely your low in coq10 at your age. But try consulting your doctor about it.

You are getting the right amount of sleep and I don't think getting less will help. Going by your age it is probably to do with growth as your body is not yet fully developed. Although, it could also be depression. If you are feeling down or if the tiredness continues you should talk to your doctor

I was tired a lot before, my vitamin D and potassium was low
