Putting bullets in a line in word?

in my version of word, there is a thing on the Home ribbon, in the paragraph section. one allows bullets, another number lists. click on the one you want. You can also control it through the styles selections. you might have to modify or create a particular style. might not be one as a default.

A bullet is much like a paragraph # - go there and you will see the bullet option in addition letters and numbers.
