At what distance is the place whwre you work from your house in n.y.etc,and how much time does it take to reach there and return ?

You have asked this in health care. I can say that most physicians who take ED call are required to live within 20 minutes of the hospital.

Daily commute varies on traffic and where they are going. Most docs I know cover several hospitals and/or have several clinics. I know many who bike to work.

Most are within 30 minutes of home. Biking may add more time.
