Why does it make me fart?

So i drank some regular pepsi, and now im getting slight pain in my abdomen, and im farting a lot,it also happens when i drink RC soda. Its really weird..

no its not weird at all. soda is carbonated. All that gas that makes the bubbles has to go somewhere. you either burp it up or fart it out.
