Life would be monotonous and boring if everybody were the same. It is the differences in our heritages, lifestyles, vocations, hobbies, skills, abilities and needs that teaches us about each other and more importantly ourselves. They also offer us challenges and opportunities, which brings inherit change. Being the same is a contradiction to change.
