Can the Glock 19 be fired with one hand and maintain alot of control?

An experienced shooter can, you cannot.

They call them handguns for a reason. That one method of holding describes what separates a handgun from a shoulder-fired gun. The two handed pistol position got famous from TV cop shows from the 70`s.
I can`t argue that it is much easier than one handed but building strength and practice could leave one arm free to be ready to use. They look awkward running with both hands on a pistol waddling like a baby duckling.
Really, I didn`t see much two handed pistol shooting prior to the seventies but see it everywhere now days...even the Marines. I still shoot one handed. I will shoot a Desert Eagle .50AE with one hand.

Not without a lot of practice, but that's the way NRA Bullseye matches are shot. It takes a lot of skill.
