So I recently became a married man. Ever since I was engaged and after the day that I was married, the idea of going to a nightclub just disgusts me.
When I was in my 20's, I would go. The motivation of going was to get dressed up and hopefully meet someone since I was single. There were nights where I did meet people and then some I didn't. But one thing was different....... I was single. If I met someone I had the right to pursue them. I had no shame with whatever happened. Now that I am a married man and was engaged to the woman I love , I don't see the reason of going to a place that people use as a singles bar/club.
Plus I am 37, and most the people are 21 or 22. It just feels weird to be surrounded by people that were 6 years old when I was their age.
Why do nightclubs turn me off ever since I got married?

You have outgrown them. You are maturing. Let that scene pass out of your life and find something enjoyable to do with your wife.

You answered your own question. You thought of clubs solely as a place to meet people to date or hook-up with. When you no longer felt the desire to do that, clubs lost their appeal for you.
Plenty of people just enjoy going clubbing for the experience, the music, dancing,drinking, socializing, etc and don't use them to hook up for sex or find people to date. Lots of couples go to clubs together. To each their own. I bet your wife is glad you've lost your desire to go clubbing.

Ok, so then avoid them and don't worry about it. You've had plenty of experience and now you are at a different stage in your life. Sounds like you've grown up
