why there r many bands who r still nu metal? like limp bizkit. even their new songs r nu metal. will lp return to nu metal?

but linkin park abandoned nu metal. actually there is a band named boston's lane who released a song named system in 2014 which sounds very similar to the old linkin park. the song is nu metal. even the linkin park's wastelands sounds little bit like nu metal and rap metal. so i feel that one lp may return to nu metal. actually there is revival of nu metal in many bands so maybe lp will also bring back nu metal

Because they can. People view nu-metal as one of the bastard children of metal. When all it really is, is one part. Bands like Linkin Park started with it because its easier to take on than some other categories and styles of music. Limp Bizkit has made it a career and an art form if you will. But they are an exception to the rule, most bands expand into other types of categories. Even if its just fringes of some. Even Korn has moved into the alternative rather than straight nu-metal. And many consider them the godfather of it. And no its not Limp Bizkit they formed in 94. Korns self titled debut dropped that year. People experiment and change things up. Music is that way and its the beauty of it. Its not one size fits all.
