How do I bring back the screen from "sleep mode"?

I have a touch screen and since changing to windows 10, when I put the computer to sleep....I can't bring it back without shutting it down completely. What can I do?

Go to the manufacturers website and see if there are any updated touch drivers for Windows 10, or do what spiny Norman suggests

Go to settings and power options to turn off the sleep mode.
