If you was lost in the desert with your dog and found some water, would you share it with your dog?

Sure. No question.
I think what those who are survivalist minded are forgetting is that deserts are cold at night, the dog will help them live longer, and their hearing and smelling is better, if there is water, they'll smell it and head towards it. And, worse comes to worst, then they won't have to feel responsible for killing something they love.

That would all depend on the circumstances surely.
If I was on the brink of death and there was only enough water for me alone, I would in desperation drink the flaming lot.... and believe me folks so would you.
Obviously if there was more water than I needed I would share it with my dog.
However...no-one knows 100% what they would do until they was actually in that situation.
Sitting in your cosy room with a full stomach of food and drink its easy to think you would be charitable, and not allow your dog to suffer. But in reality I can almost guarantee you would hardly give a damn if your life was at stake. It would be survival of the fittest.
A bit of a daft question anyway in my opinion.
