Strep throat ?

I had strep throat three weeks ago and everything been normal till this morning I woke up and threw the day it was hard to swallow I got home and look in the mirror and the right tonsil is swollen and got white patches and a red spot where the one white patch was it's kinda peeling looking it looks gross what could it be?

its strep thoat if u go to doctor the look in ur throat and look for white patches and redness so u got it right its strep but go to doctor u need medicine not just cold medicine

tonsillitis comes to mind -- you'll need a course of antibiotics to beat that
