For the first reaction, the equation is :
2NH₃ ⇌ N₂ + 3H₂ …. K₁ = [N₂] [H₂]^3 / [NH₃]^2

For the second reaction, the equation is :
(1/2)N₂ + (3/2)H₂ ⇌ NH₃ ….. K₂ = [NH₃] / [N₂]^(1/2) [H₂]^(3/2)
Then, K₂² = [NH₃] / [N₂] [H₂]^3
Hence, 1/K₂² = [N₂] [H₂]^3 / [NH₃]^2 = K₁

The answer: b. K₁ = 1/K₂²
