No. of moles, n = ?
Gas constant, R = 0.08314 L bar K⁻¹ mol⁻¹
Absolute temperature, T = (27 + 273) K = 300 K

PV = nRT
Hence, n = PV / (RT)

No. of moles of helium gas = 140 × 50 / (0.08314 × 300) K = 281 mol (to 3 sig. fig.)

number of moles = PV / RT = 140 bar * 50L / 8.31446 * 10^-2 L bar K−1 mol−1 * 300K
= 280 moles = 280 g* 4.00 g/mol = 1122 g of He
