Do you get along with your mother ?

You will have a more connection with her after you turn 30ish. Trust me, and never trust someone who sais trust me. I used to hate my parents when i was in my teens, but now i just love them to pieces.

I love my mother but, no.. even now, I've moved out and am on my own we STILL don't get along that well.

We get along usually, but we have some key personality differences that occasionally cause problems.
She stresses over practical matters when I get one of my idealistic/ambitious ideas. She becomes scared when I do things she doesn't understand or things she wouldn't do or has never done.

Growing up she said I could do anything and to follow my dreams, but when I do it terrifies her because my ambitions and goals aren't like what hers were.

My mother has passed away, but I got along pretty good with her when she was among the living.

I never got on with my mother when she was alive .

My mother had a mental illness. She practically destroyed my life because she had this mental illness. If there was medication like ehat i take around in the 70-80's my life wpuld have been a different thing. I knew nothing of ehat she suffered from so in my mind i hated her she was a monster. Only after i began to get treatment for my mental illness did the psychiatrist and told the doctor of my mothers behavior and actions did he tell me that from her actions she was mentally ill

only for about 8 hours at a time, then acrimony, recrimination, sulking breaks-out!
