How many miles on it?
Replace the PCV valve and if clogged, any PVC hoses.
You might have bad or stuck rings or valve seats not seating properly. Go to a mechanic or try some of these steps to clean the engine.
I am guessing there is some sludge build up.
If you change your oil yourself, get mobile one full synthetic oil and a new filter.
If not go to any place that you like, they will have a full synthetic oil. Watch the the cost or look for coupons.
Buy motor medic, two bottles. If at home, follow instructions. I like to let car sit at least two hours before changing oil.
If at an oil change place, put motor medic after you get to oil change place, wait 20 minutes.
You are not suppose to drive under load or more than like a few hundred feet.
After driving 1000 miles, enough time of synthetic oil to break down some deposits. Then do a seafoam treatment, half can through brake line vacuum. I like to stall the car out with fluid and then let it sit for a few hours so seafoam is in cylinders.
1/2 can in the oil, run car for a few minutes, at low speed or idle. Then change oil.
I use Valvoline high mileage synthetic blend and it seems to be good oil for high mileage cars.
So this may not fix the issue, but you can be sure the engine is clean and it probably needed a cleaning process.
You could also try this as a third step. And you most likely will need new spark plugs after this or step. Again they are probably past due for change anyway.
