Why am I only getting sleep paralysis in my room?

I moved into my sisters old room after she moved out maybe a year ago and I had an uneasy feeling from the very start. I messaged my sister and said "your room is creepy." for which she responded "yeah, you never get used to it". After that nothing really happened that scared me except whenever I'd go to sleep and feel something sit down on the side of my bed. It scared the **** out of me but I learned to ignore it. After awhile, about a year recently every time i'd go to sleep in my room without cold medicine I started getting sleep paralysis. Yet when I slept anywhere else i would never get it.

Sleep paralysis? We are always paralyzed during sleep. That is why we don't get up and walk out of the house while dreaming.

It depends in the position that you are sleeping or if your body does not feel comfortable in that place
