Stationary wave confusion?

In my text book, it tells me to find the wavelength of the stationary wave by fo = v/ 入o, when fo is double, the wavelength is half etc. however, isn't v always = 0?

A stationary wave is formed by two identical travelling waves propagating in opposite directions. The frequency and wavelength of the stationary wave are the same as those of the travelling wave.

Hence, the wave velocity v in the equation refers to the wave velocity of the original travelling wave.
