Help calculating with a calculator?

I am trying to get $859.50 but I'm having problems inputting the numbers correctly in my calculator with parenthesis. It's supposed to be 1040/1.10^2= 859.50 but the way i am putting it in i'm not getting the correct answer.

1040/(1.1)^2 = $859.50
