So, I'm fifteen and I've had sleep paralysis twice in the last week.
The first time it happened I was dreaming I was cuddling with my boyfriend. I then woke up and still had the feeling of somethings arms around me, and started hearing conversations of gibberish. I tried to move, and I couldn't. I realized that it was sleep paralysis.
Once I broke out of it, I got up and told my mom and then slept on the ouch and it didn't happen again.
My mom thinks I was either dreaming or I couldn't move because I was scared of like a ghost or something. But she doesn't understand that I was literally paralyzed. Like. HOM ESLICE. I WASN'T PARALYZED COZ I WAS SCARED. I WAS SCARED COZ I WAS PARALYZED. Anyways, lmfao. My mother is completely ignorant to the subject of sleep paralysis.
The second time it happened I was in a normal dream and I was yanked out of it to placed where I couldn't move or scream. I swear that looked like it was out of a horror movie. I forced myself awake and still couldn't move nor scream. I felt like there was presence right in front of my face, and I refuse to open my eyes.
This only happens when I'm in my room, no other time.
My sister says she also had sleep paralysis only in that room and both me and her felt something sit down on the side of the bed while we're trying to sleep.
People say that you should embrace it and look at the hallucinations, should I continue not looking? Or should I open my eyes next time this happens?
