You have mismatched parentheses.
So I'm not sure if you mean:
2x^2 − 3
------------ = (2x^2 − 3)/(x+2)^2
(x+2)^2
or
................. 3
2x^2 − ----------- = 2x^2 − 3/(x+2)^2
........... (x+2)^2
lim[x→−2⁺] (2x^2−3)/(x+2)^2 = (8−3)/+0 = +∞
lim[x→−2⁺] 2x^2 −3/(x+2)^2 = 8 − 3/+0 = −∞
So I'm not sure if you mean:
2x^2 − 3
------------ = (2x^2 − 3)/(x+2)^2
(x+2)^2
or
................. 3
2x^2 − ----------- = 2x^2 − 3/(x+2)^2
........... (x+2)^2
lim[x→−2⁺] (2x^2−3)/(x+2)^2 = (8−3)/+0 = +∞
lim[x→−2⁺] 2x^2 −3/(x+2)^2 = 8 − 3/+0 = −∞
