Depending on the model of the computer you purchased, and the manufacturer, there may be on-board client-accessible hardware diagnostics which you may be able to run yourself.
If you would rather have it looked at by Geek Squad, we absolutely will test a computer that you've bought for hardware and software concerns. The services we would recommend are a Diagnostic service to test the device for any hardware issues with components such as Hard Drive, Memory, Processor, etc. as well as fully scanning the device for any malware, viruses, spyware, and recommendations for cleanup or updates of software.
A full diagnostic (including hardware) must be performed either in-store or on site; but, if you want to have us run software diagnostics (virus scans) only, this service could be performed via remote connection. You may make an appointment for Geek Squad online at
