And wearing a shirt that is derogatory and offensive toward the majority of your coworkers and customers is definitely a really stupid thing to do. Your boss could fire you for lacking both common decency and basic business sense.

At the end of the day, being offensive toward customers hurts Walmart's profitability. That's more than enough reason to lay you off.

In most of the USA, employees at Wal-Mart are "At Will" employees. That means you can be fired for any reason, as long as the reason is not discriminatory in nature. So, you CAN be fired for wearing a shirt they deem as offensive or that otherwise violates their clothing policy.

Yes, you could get fired. You are on private property, doing work for the owner of that property, and if the customers are offended by your "message" the owner would lose money.
